Students Do Their Bit To Help SPCA Kajang

Students Do Their Bit To Help SPCA Kajang
Malaysians are known to be caring and empathetic, and this does not exclude being concerned about stray animals. The number of stray animals continues to grow at an uncontrollable rate. Therefore we, Peanut Butter, a group of 15 Year 2 BAC Students from the UOL (University of London) programme, have chosen SPCA Kajang, a dog shelter, for our Community Service subject.    Our primary goal is to help raise funds for SPCA Kajang so that dogs under their care can be vaccinated, neutered, and be provided a safe and comfortable environment. We hope that through this campaign, we will be able to create awareness and an understanding about the overpopulation of stray dogs, and prevent these strays from being neglected or abused. We also want to bring to light the abandoning of pets, and hope to discourage people from abandoning them.     We want to promote ‘Adopt, Don’t Shop’ to encourage the public to adopt.    Running a non-profit pet shelter requires a large amount of funding. Due to the Distemper Virus, a viral disease that affects a wide variety of mammal families, including domestic and wild species of dogs, many of the dogs at this facility require extensive proper care and medical attention too.     Let us help SPCA Kajang feed and care for our furry friends. Every little help.   If you would like to contribute, donations can be made to:   Pertubuhan Bangkit (Uplift Organization)   564342627846 (Maybank)     Please indicate “PawsRescue-Peanut Butter” in the transaction reference field and send proof of receipt to DB at 017-8880206    Together, let’s us make a difference for the dogs by sharing this post with your friends, family or on your social media accounts!
